Our Favorite Treat

Best Ever Mint Brownies
Marna Patch













Brownie Layer:

1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup Hershey's syrup (1 can)
Beat flour, sugar, butter, eggs, and syrup until smooth. Bake in prepared (greased and floured) 9 x 13 pan for 25-30 minutes at 350 or unitl the tip springs back when lightly touched. Cool.

Mint Layer:
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 tablespoon water
1/2 teaspoon mint
3 drops food coloring (optional)
Beat until fluffy and spread on top of brownies.

Chocolate Topping:
6 Tablespoons butter
1 cup chocolate chips
Melt together and spread over mint layer. Let stand before cutting.

These brownies are famous in our family. Try them and you will see why. I promise you will not be disappointed!
